Bed and Breakfast Lodging
The Bed and Breakfast form of lodging is a popular tradition that has been held over from before the 20th century when inns were uncommon. A Bed and Breakfast (or B & B) is most commonly in a large single family home, with the owners of the residence being the staff of the Bed and Breakfast. The guest of the Bed and Breakfast stay in a private bedroom, with either a private or shared bathroom. Breakfast is served to the guests as part of the price of lodging, either in the bedroom or, more commonly, in a dining room or kitchen. A Bed & Breakfast will frequently be located in an area where larger hotels do not have enough business to operate, such as National Parks.
