In the paragraphs below, you will find general descriptions of the Rental Property types offered through the Vacation Places To Stay network. These descriptions are general and the Owner or Property Manager uses their discretion when categorizing each of the Rental Properties offered on our website. We offer each description as general guidelines that may give you some idea of what you may expect when staying at one of these Rental Property types. Each of the Property Types described may not be available at any given vacation destination.
Vacation Rental Homes
One of the more popular Rental Property types, the rental home is a single family house that is usually located in an urban or sub-urban area. A Vacation Rental Home will usually have two to four bedrooms, a kitchen, one or more bathrooms, with dining and/or living areas. The Vacation Rental Home is on its own property, surrounded by a yard and possibly gardens or a pool, and is normally the only dwelling located on the property.
Vacation Rental Villas
Normally located in more rural areas, the vacation rental villa offers more privacy than many of the other types of rental properties. A vacation rental villa will normally have three or more bedrooms, some of which may be in separate outbuildings. Each bedroom frequently has its own bath, with a shared kitchen and dining room. A vacation rental villa will usually have a separate living area, and sometimes have a game or entertaiment room. The grounds of a vacation rental villa will normally be larger than most other rental properties, and gardens are much more common. Some more luxurious vacation rental villas include a small staff for cooking and cleaning during the renters stay.
